what would new girl do?

Um... pretty sure that New Girl should staff the two of us. I know what you're thinking -- that's what all newbie writers tell themselves. But you'd be wrong. Dead wrong.

They should staff us because they keep stealing our spec ideas. We're pretty sure there's someone on staff lurking at the cafes we frequent, furiously scribbling our amazeballs ideas on one of those yellow legal notepads.

Their latest thievery -- Pepperwood -- The guys think Jess has an adult-ed student stalker and Nick comes to her defense -- our idea.

So now when we approach a new spec we ask ourselves only one question -- What Would New Girl Do. If the answer is said spec idea -- we throw it out and start again. Go big or go home.
